More about Asia
Asia is the world's largest continent and most populous with over 4 billion people calling this continent home. There are six sub regions of Asia. They are Northern, Central, Middle, Southern, Eastern, and South Eastern Asia. The country of China that Tom Carter explored is in the Eastern region of Asia. China is only slightly smaller than the Untied States of America! An interesting fact about China is that they do not actually have 33 provinces. They have 33 provincial-level administrative units. There are actually 23 provinces, 4 municipalities (self-government), 5 autonomous (independent) regions, and special administrative regions.

Let's think:
How do you think the Great Wall of China was made?
What is a landmark you would want to build for Asia and how would you build it?
If you could explore a country like Tom Carter did, what country would you explore?
Would you walk like he did, or how would you travel?
