Alexander the Great was one of History's most famous rulers. Do you know that he never lost a battle! Alexander was born in July 356 B.C. to Philip II of Macedon and his wife Olympias. Alexander was a rambunctious boy who often had a hard time with his studies. Phillip decided to hire Aristotle to teach Alexander for four years and Alexander flourished under his instruction. Alexander's father was assassinated in 336 B.C. and Alexander took over and began his life long career of exploring and conquering.
